This comprehensive blood panel (47 markers) includes everything required for an initial assessment of testosterone deficiency, as well as ongoing monitoring of your general health whilst on treatment.
We believe a first blood test should be thorough. Looking beyond testosterone alone allows us to identify potential underlying or reversible causes of your symptoms from the outset, giving a clearer, more complete understanding of your health before any further testing or treatment is considered.
Alongside a full hormone profile, this panel assesses key health markers to provide a clearer, more complete picture of your overall health. It also includes selected vitamin and mineral markers, which can play an important role in supporting optimal hormone function.
This is a venous blood test, providing the most accurate and reliable results. It can be carried out in clinic or remotely, with a range of sample collection options available.

The following tests can only be ordered in addition to one of the blood test profiles listed above. They cannot be ordered as stand-alone tests.
This blood test measures the amount of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) in your blood. PSA is a protein produced by normal cells in the prostate and also by prostate cancer cells. It is normal to have a small amount of PSA in your blood, and the amount rises slightly as you get older and your prostate gets bigger. A raised PSA level may suggest you have a problem with your prostate, but this does not necessarily mean cancer. All abnormal results should be discussed with your doctor.
Cystatin C is a more sensitive and accurate marker of kidney function than creatinine, particularly in people with higher muscle mass or those on testosterone therapy. Because TRT can increase muscle mass (which can falsely elevate creatinine), measuring cystatin C provides a clearer picture of true kidney health and filtration efficiency.
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is one of your bioavailable male androgens. Testosterone is converted to DHT by the enzyme 5-alpha reductase which is located in the testes and prostate. DHT has effects on brain function (including libido), muscle growth and repair, and prostate health.
Please note that this test is sent to a referral lab for processing and results can take up to 10 working days to arrive.
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone produced from cholesterol by the adrenal glands, which your body converts into testosterone and oestrogen. It affects many areas of health and wellbeing. Most of the DHEA in the body exists in the blood in the sulphated form, DHEA-S, which is what this test measures.
Pregnenolone is the precursor to all steroid hormones. For steroid hormone production, cholesterol converts into pregnenolone in the adrenal glands and then several enzymes complete the production of multiple hormones.
Please note that this test is sent to a referral lab for processing and results can take up to 20 working days to arrive.
Cortisol plays a role in metabolism and is the main hormone involved in stress and the fight-or-flight response. Disorders of the adrenal glands can cause the over or underproduction of stress hormones which can cause symptoms such as excessive fatigue, anxiety, insomnia and weight gain. This test measures whether your cortisol production levels are too high or too low, which could be having a negative impact on your sense of well-being.
This blood test checks to see if you have the right level of thyroid hormones for a healthy metabolism.
This more complete blood test checks your thyroid hormones, as well your thyroid antibodies, for an in-depth picture of your thyroid health.
This blood test checks to see if you have the right level of thyroid hormones. It also includes Reverse T3, a by-product of thyroid hormone metabolism.
Please note that the Reverse T3 test is sent to a referral lab for processing and results can take up to 12 working days to arrive.
