MBChB MRCGP Dip.FIPT
I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from Sheffield Medical School in 1997. Soon after, I travelled to Australia to fulfil a lifelong dream: cage-diving with Great White Sharks – a humbling experience that deepened my sense of purpose. Upon returning to the UK, I pursued a career in surgery. While I enjoyed the technical aspect of surgical work, I found myself increasingly drawn to a more holistic view of health. This shift led me to General Practice, and I achieved membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2010.
Understanding the deep connection between physical health and psychological resilience, I completed a Diploma in Fitness & Personal Training (Dip.FIPT) in 2013. Fitness has long been a personal passion, grounded in the belief that we are physical beings navigating a mentally demanding world.
I stay current with the latest research and clinical advancements through dedicated study and CPD. I’m an active member of the British, European, and International Societies of Sexual Medicine, The Androgen Society, and the British Menopause Society. In 2023, I was honoured to present at the IDSI 20th International Symposium on Diabetes in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic.
The Men’s Health Clinic was founded in 2016 out of both personal experience with low testosterone and a desire to create meaningful change by focusing on the individual. Testosterone Deficiency is rarely a standalone issue; it’s often the result of a series of overlooked factors. Restoring hormonal balance lays the groundwork for true personal transformation.
As public understanding of hormone health continues to grow, my commitment remains focused on the patient – bridging the gap between subjective experience and objective medicine. This work is as challenging as it is fulfilling. Our clinic’s evolution has led to the development of a pioneering microdosing TRT methodology that now draws patients from around the globe to our bespoke clinic in Ferndown.
For the hero, fear is a challenge and a task, because only boldness can deliver from fear. And if the risk is not taken, the meaning of life is somehow violated, and the whole future is condemned to hopeless staleness, to a drab grey lit only by will-o'-the-wisps. - C.G. Jung
The Androgen Deficiency in Aging Males (ADAM) questionnaire is an internationally accredited assessment tool which is often used by doctors when making the assessment and diagnosis of Testosterone Deficiency. It consists of 10 questions that help determine if you could be suffering from low testosterone, and whether or not further testing and follow up are indicated.
