Whether you are looking to treat existing symptoms, support your TRT journey or simply aiming to be the healthiest version of yourself, we can help. The vitamin and supplement market can be overwhelming, with the quality of brands and ingredients very variable. It can also be difficult to decide which supplements may be beneficial to our health. Our in house registered pharmacist Richard Maiden can simplify this and create a personal individual vitamin and supplement protocol for you based on your respective needs. These needs are very individual, depending on factors such as symptoms, nutrient deficiency test results and existing prescription medication regimes. Diagnosing and fixing nutritional deficiencies can have a huge impact on health, as Richard found out through his own health experiences.
During your initial consultation we will outline your specific health goals, current nutrition and supplements, lifestyle factors and medical history. A detailed medical history will be taken, including symptoms, health conditions, existing medication and any recent blood/deficiency test results.
We also offer the option of comprehensive blood testing, using a range of markers that will demonstrate how your various body systems are functioning, as well as gold standard SpectraCell Micronutrient Testing, which gives an insight into your body’s current nutritional status on a intracellular level. These test results are an extremely useful tool and can help us design your individual supplement protocol.
The consultation can take place either in the clinic or online via video call, depending on what suits your needs. If you choose to attend the clinic, we can obtain a benchmark reading of your body composition using our medical-grade InBody 770 scanner as part of the consultation (additional fee applies). This allows us to record and track data relating to your physical health, as well as providing you with a benchmark to work from. Please see the InBody UK FAQs page for further details on how to best prepare for your InBody scan.
All information gathered at this consultation and following blood tests will allow our specialist pharmacist to design your individualised supplement and vitamin protocol.
Richard will share your individual vitamin and supplement protocol with you and explain it in detail. A list of recommended supplements for you to purchase will be outlined. These can be sourced for you if required.
Dosages and timings will be explained and any questions or concerns can be addressed. As a pharmacist, I always look at how vitamin supplements can interact with prescription medication to ensure patient safety at all times.
We can arrange follow up consultations at your request to monitor progress and tweak the supplement protocol if needed. We can also arrange follow up nutrient testing to measure levels and another InBody 770 scan if requested.
Health goals and symptoms will be tracked and reviewed to help you with your health journey.
A single appointment may be more appropriate for you if you are simply looking for advice on tweaking your existing vitamin and supplement protocol. It may also be a good option for those that have already had a SpectraCell Micronutrient test or have been diagnosed with certain deficiencies.
Follow up consultations can be arranged if necessary.
